Personal data
Protecting your personal data is important to us. Here we explain what data we collect when you use robobee.gr, why, who we pass it to and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and Law 4624/2019.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the sole proprietorship RoboBee – Chalvatzopoulos Andreas, Ippolytou 2, 26441 Patras, VAT No. 132055334. For any matter concerning your personal data, write to us at info@robobee.gr.
2. What data we collect
You can browse the shop without giving any personal information. We collect data only when you:
- Place an order: full name, address, postcode, town or city, phone number, email, the products and value of the order, the delivery and payment method and any comments you wrote. If you request an invoice, also your company name, VAT number and tax office. If you choose collection from a locker, also the locker you selected.
- Create an account: full name, email, the address details you save and your order history. Your password is stored only in encrypted form and we cannot see it.
- Contact us: your name, email and the content of your message.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type at the time of the order, as well as the server log files, for security and fraud prevention purposes.
We do not collect or store card details. Card payments take place in Viva's secure environment, and we only learn whether the payment was completed. We do not ask for your ID card number or any special categories of data (sensitive data).
3. Why we process it

The details marked as required at checkout are necessary to fulfil the order. Without them we cannot complete it. We do not send marketing messages without your consent, and we do not make decisions based solely on automated processing or carry out profiling.
4. Who we pass it to
Your data is not sold or given to third parties for their own purposes. Only what is needed is passed on, and only to:
- courier companies (Geniki Taxydromiki and, when you choose it, BOX NOW): name, address or locker, phone number, email and the cash on delivery amount, to deliver the order. BOX NOW uses your mobile number and email to send you the collection code (by SMS, Viber or email) and, possibly, a short satisfaction survey about the delivery,
- the payment provider (Viva), for card payments,
- the hosting provider of our website and email (Hostinger), which acts on our behalf as a processor,
- our accountant and the tax authorities (AADE), for our tax obligations,
- judicial and other public authorities, when required by law.
If any of the above providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, this is done only with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
5. How long we keep it
- Orders and tax documents: for as long as tax legislation requires (as a rule 5 years, and longer where the law provides for it) and for as long as the statutory warranty on the products lasts.
- Account: until you ask for it to be deleted.
- Contact messages: up to 2 years from the last contact.
- Backups and log files: for a short period, and they are deleted automatically.
6. Your rights
You have the right:
- to find out whether and what data of yours we process and to receive a copy of it (access),
- to request the correction of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data,
- to request its deletion when there is no longer a reason to keep it,
- to request the restriction of processing,
- to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format (portability),
- to object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
- to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise a right, write to us at info@robobee.gr. We reply within one month. This period may be extended by two further months for complex requests, in which case we will let you know. We may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also correct your account details yourself on the "My account" page. Data we are required by law to keep, such as tax documents, cannot be deleted before that obligation ends.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias Ave. 1-3, 115 23 Athens).
7. Security
Your communication with the website is encrypted (HTTPS). Only those who need access to order data in order to fulfil orders have it, using personal passwords. No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that may put your rights at risk, we will inform the competent Authority and you, as required by law.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the shop to work:

Necessary cookies do not require consent. Statistics cookies are set only with your consent, which you can refuse without any consequence for your use of the shop. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, the basket and login will not work. When paying by card and choosing a locker, you are taken to third-party services (Viva, BOX NOW), which have their own policies.
9. Minors
The shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has given us their details, write to us so that we can delete them.
10. Changes
If the way we process your data changes, we will update this page.
