Accessibility statement

We want robobee.gr to be usable by everyone, regardless of their device or any difficulty with sight, hearing, movement or understanding. This statement describes what we have done towards this, what we know is not yet fully accessible and how you can tell us about a problem.

Standard we follow

The website has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1, level AA, in accordance with Law 4994/2022 (transposition of the European Accessibility Act, Directive (EU) 2019/882).

Compliance status

The website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. In the most recent automated test (axe-core tool, WCAG 2.0 to 2.2 level A and AA rules), on 30 September 2026, no violations were found on the main pages: home page, categories, product pages, search, basket, order tracking, contact and sign-in. Automated testing does not detect every possible problem, so we continually test and improve the website.

What makes the website accessible

  • All functions (menu, search, variant selection, basket, checkout) can be carried out using the keyboard alone, with a visible indication of the selected element.
  • At the top of every page there is a "Skip to content" link so you can bypass the menu.
  • Pages have a proper structure (headings, regions, lists) and a declared Greek language, so that they are read correctly by screen readers.
  • Images have alternative text and every form field has a label. Error messages describe in text what needs to be corrected.
  • Text has sufficient contrast with the background, and information is not conveyed by colour alone.
  • The website adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop, and works at up to 200% zoom without loss of content.
  • There are no time limits for completing forms, and no content that flashes or moves automatically without a way to stop it.

Known limitations

  • Third-party services: the card payment page (Viva Wallet) and the BOX NOW locker selection map are provided by those companies, and their accessibility is outside our control. If you have difficulty, you can choose another payment or delivery method, or we can complete the order together (see below).
  • Manufacturer descriptions: some technical product descriptions come from the manufacturers, are only in English or include tables and images containing text. We are improving them gradually.

Reporting a problem

If you encounter a barrier when using the website, let us know: email info@robobee.gr with the page you were on and a short description of the problem (and, if you wish, the device, browser or screen reader you are using). We will reply within 5 working days at the latest.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the Consumer Ombudsman.

This statement was prepared on 30 September 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment and automated testing, and is reviewed whenever the website changes substantially.
