Description
The Raspberry Pi 500+ is the upgraded version of the standard Raspberry Pi 500. The membrane keyboard gives way to a high-quality mechanical keyboard with replaceable keycaps and individually addressable RGB LEDs. System memory goes up from 8GB to 16GB, and the computer comes with a 256GB SSD on which the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS is already installed.
Mechanical keyboard
The keyboard uses Gateron KS-33 Blue low-profile switches. They have long travel and fast actuation, so typing is comfortable and smooth. In the box you will find a keycap puller, which you can use to remove the default keycaps and fit others of your choice.
SSD storage
The built-in 256GB Raspberry Pi SSD offers very fast boot times and fast, reliable data transfer. If you need more space, you can open the case with the included tool and fit a different, larger-capacity SSD.
RGB lighting
Beneath the mechanical switches are bright, crisp LEDs. You can choose one of the preset lighting patterns or program each LED individually for a look that is entirely your own.
